Steps
1. WooCommerce missing notice
Activate WooCommerce. Canvas Auctions cannot process winners without it.
2. Elementor widgets missing
Expected when Elementor is inactive. Use shortcodes instead.
3. Auction did not close
Check Action Scheduler. Open the auction page after end time to trigger idempotent close failsafe. Use WP-CLI: wp canvas-auctions overdue or wp canvas-auctions close <id>.
4. Bids rejected
Confirm login, eligibility, not self-bidding, correct increment, auction accepting bids, and rate limits not exceeded.
5. Winner cannot pay
Confirm award ownership, deadline not expired, gateway configured, and coupons/mixed-cart settings not blocking unexpectedly.
6. Live room stale
Confirm realtime_mode polling, browser tab visibility, REST nonce/session valid, and clients recover from last sequence.
7. Run diagnostics
Use Auctions → Diagnostics or wp canvas-auctions diagnostics / schema.
