Edit a listing from the frontend
Beginner guide · about 10 minutes · Auction holder / seller, Site administrator.
At a glance
Audience: Auction holder / seller, Site administrator. Difficulty: beginner. Time: about 10 minutes.
Prerequisites
- Approved holder (or admin)
- Listing in draft, rejected, pending review, or scheduled
Steps
1. Open Edit
From the holder dashboard listings view, use Edit. Or open the single auction page and choose Edit listing when you own an editable lot.
2. Update fields
Change title, descriptions (HTML is sanitized with allowlisted tags), gallery, prices, schedule, visibility, fulfilment notes, and category. Product and images sync through ProductSync on save.
3. Save via REST
The form saves with REST PUT/PATCH. Draft and rejected lots stay editable; scheduled lots can still be adjusted before they go live.
4. Share the lot
On the public single page, use Details and Share tabs, copy the URL, or show the QR code for mobile sharing.
