Build auction pages with Elementor
Intermediate guide · about 25 minutes · Site administrator.
At a glance
Audience: Site administrator. Difficulty: intermediate. Time: about 25 minutes.
Prerequisites
- Elementor installed (optional)
- Setup pages exist
Steps
1. Confirm Elementor is optional
If Elementor is inactive, keep using shortcodes. Do not require Elementor for core auctions.
2. Edit a Setup page in Elementor
Open any assigned auction page and edit with Elementor.
3. Insert Canvas Auctions widgets
Use modular widgets: Auction Grid, Search/Filters, Single Auction, Gallery, Details, Current Price, Countdown, Bid Panel, Bid History, Live Room, Host Console, dashboards, submission, status, share, login.
4. Use dynamic tags carefully
When available, dynamic tags can output auction ID, prices, end time, countdown, state, type, bid count, reserve-met, holder name, and condition. Never expose privileged data in editor previews.
5. Style responsively
Configure typography, colors, spacing, and empty states per widget. Keep bidding controls keyboard accessible.
